Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0 · Effective 26 October 2026

These terms apply when you order food and drinks from Mapogu Coffee & Eatery through www.mapogu.com. Please read them, together with our Privacy Policy and our Delivery & Refunds policy, before you pay.

1.About us

The website and online ordering service are operated by CV Mapogu Jaya Sejahtera (Mapogu Coffee & Eatery), Jl. Goa Gong No.88x, Jimbaran, Kec. Kuta Selatan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361 (“Mapogu”, “we”, “us”).

You can reach us via WhatsApp +62 878-7694-6888.

2.Placing an order

  • Choose dishes, options and quantities on the order page, then go to checkout.
  • At checkout you enter your name and WhatsApp number, choose delivery or pickup and, for delivery, your address and map pin.
  • Before you pay, we show the complete price: food including PB1 tax, any service charge and the delivery fee.
  • Your order is placed once the payment provider confirms your payment. We send the confirmation and status updates to your WhatsApp number and show them on your order status page.
  • After payment, our kitchen confirms the order. If we cannot prepare it (for example because an item has just sold out or the kitchen has closed), we cancel it and refund you in full.

We accept online orders only during opening hours, up to the last order time shown on the site. The minimum order is Rp 55,000 of food (menu prices, PB1 included; the delivery fee does not count). Scheduled orders for a later time are not available yet.

3.Prices and tax

All prices are in Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Menu prices include the 10% regional restaurant tax (PB1/PBJT) unless the menu clearly says otherwise. The delivery fee is the courier’s price for your route, passed on at cost and shown separately at checkout.

We do not charge any payment fee or surcharge for QRIS, e-wallets or cards. The amount you pay is the total shown at checkout — we never ask for more after you have paid. If a price on the site is obviously wrong, we will contact you before preparing your order and you may cancel for a full refund.

4.Payment

Payments are handled by DOKU (PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha), a payment service provider licensed by Bank Indonesia, on its secure payment page. We never see or store your card number, e-wallet PIN or banking password. Available methods may include QRIS (which you can also pay from the GoPay app or your banking app), e-wallets such as DANA, OVO and ShopeePay, and cards.

A payment session is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires before you pay, no order is placed and you can try again. If money was taken after the session expired, we either confirm the order with you or refund the full amount.

5.Delivery and pickup

Delivery is carried out by independent third-party couriers (such as GoSend and GrabExpress, booked through Biteship) within about 7 km of the café, or occasionally by our own staff. Delivery times are estimates. For pickup orders, collect your order at the counter and show your order code. Our Delivery & Refunds policy explains the details.

6.Cancellations and refunds

  • Before the kitchen accepts your order, you can cancel it yourself on the order status page and receive a 100% refund.
  • After the kitchen has accepted it, your food is being prepared. You can then cancel only when the problem is on our side or the courier’s side — please contact us on WhatsApp.
  • Wrong or missing items: send us a photo on WhatsApp within 2 hours. We will redeliver the item or refund it to your original payment method.
  • If no courier can be found, you choose: pick up the order yourself, wait a little longer, or receive a full refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 days of the transaction. If your payment method cannot be refunded automatically, we ask you on WhatsApp to reply with your bank name, account number and account holder name, and transfer the money manually to that account. We never ask for PINs, passwords or OTP codes.

Nothing in these terms takes away your right to a refund or compensation under Indonesian consumer protection law (Law No. 8 of 1999).

7.Food information, allergens and pork

Our kitchen is not halal. Dishes and options that contain pork are marked “MENGANDUNG BABI” with a pig symbol, and the order page lets you hide pork dishes. All food is prepared in the same kitchen, so we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from pork or from allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, fish or shellfish, or traces of them. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before ordering. Photos are serving suggestions; the actual dish may look slightly different.

8.Your responsibilities

Please give a correct name, WhatsApp number and delivery address, keep your phone reachable until the order arrives, and do not place fraudulent orders or misuse promotions. We may refuse or cancel an order that appears fraudulent; any payment received for it will be refunded.

9.Our responsibility

We are responsible for the food we prepare and the service we provide under these terms and under Indonesian law. If something goes wrong with your order — including during delivery — contact us and we will put it right by redelivering or refunding as described in our Delivery & Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indonesian law.

10.Questions and complaints

Contact us via WhatsApp +62 878-7694-6888. We reply during opening hours and aim to resolve complaints within 3 × 24 hours. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK) or the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Trade Compliance of the Ministry of Trade.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when our service or the law changes. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

12.Governing law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will first try to settle any dispute amicably (musyawarah); if that fails, it may be brought before BPSK or the competent district court in accordance with the law. These terms are available in Indonesian and English. If the versions differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
